Today, May 21, 2011, was Masonic Appreciation Day at Newburg Park. The Eel Valley Babe Ruth League demonstrated their appreciation for the donation from Eel River Empire No. 147 Lodge in the amount of $5,000 toward purchasing new uniforms for the five teams in the league.

The first pitch was thrown out by the Lodge’s star pitcher “Spit Ball Widdoes.
